On June 21st, MiniMax held its inaugural meetup in Japan, right in the heart of Shibuya, Tokyo, co-organized with GMO Group. We introduced our full lineup of models and products—including the newly released M1 models, Hailuo02, MiniMax Agent, Hailuo Video Agent, and MiniMax Audio—to a vibrant new community of designers, illustrators, technologists, and storytellers.

The event attracted nearly 300 registrants. Creators from diverse disciplines—ranging from seasoned AI practitioners to curious newcomers—came together to exchange ideas, explore new tools, and discover creative possibilities powered by MiniMax technologies.

Creator-Led Showcases and Hands-On Exploration

The meetup featured live demos by renowned AI creators Mew（みゅう）, May Yamaura, and 異次元劇場, each sharing how they incorporate Hailuo AI & MiniMax Audio into their creative workflows, from visual storytelling to voice-driven experiences. Their presentations offered a grounded, creator-first look into the transformative potential of MiniMax tools.
MiniMax’s partner AI HUB presented valuable insights into the adoption of generative AI among Japanese creators, including a standout showcase of an AI-generated singer powered by Hailuo AI.
Event host and Hailuo star creator 銀ペガ also took the stage, delivering an engaging session on using Hailuo AI and MiniMax Audio together to enable seamless, end-to-end storytelling.

The evening wrapped up with a curated video showcase and an open networking session, where attendees were invited to explore MiniMax tools hands-on, exchange ideas, and share their creative journeys.
