Aug 11–25, we’re calling on developers, innovators, and AI tinkerers worldwide to join the MiniMax AI Agent Challenge — with $150,000 in prizes up for grabs.

All you need: your boldest idea and MiniMax Agent, built to handle long-horizon, complex tasks. Build from scratch or remix existing ideas — either way, MiniMax Agent is your ultimate creative partner.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Register to the Hackathon

Visit https://minimax-agent-hackathon.space.minimax.io/ and complete your registration with MiniMax Agent UID.

Step 2: Get Your Credits

Once registered, you’ll receive 5,000 credits on your MiniMax Agent account to build your project. This usually takes around 3 hours — if you haven’t received them within 24 hours, feel free to contact us.

Step 3: Build & Share

Start building with MiniMax Agent. When your project is ready, share it to our Gallery, social media, and upload at least a 30-second demo video to X or YouTube to boost visibility. Not sure what to build? Remixing existing projects is totally allowed — and encouraged!

Step 4: Promote your project!

The more attention it gets, the higher your chances of winning a share of the $150,000 cash prize.

Original Tracks

Use MiniMax Agent to build anything you want — then publish your project to the Gallery and share it on social media to attract as many remixes as possible.

Remix Tracks

Prefer remixing? Simply find a project you like, click the Remix button, and tell the Agent what you'd like to change. Then publish your version to the Gallery and share it to social media — that visibility could boost your chances of winning too!

- Does the project address a real problem or opportunity?
- Considerations include social impact, commercial potential, and scalability.
Technological Implementation
- How well is the project built?
- Assessed by the quality of data, prompt design, and technical execution.
Innovation & Creativity
- Is the idea bold, unexpected, or boundary-pushing?
- Originality in concept and approach is highly valued.
Functionality
- Does the project actually work?
- Evaluated based on usability, performance, and end-to-end experience.
